When to visit Murcia, month by month

January to March. Mild and quiet. Days around 17–20°C, cool evenings, empty golf courses and the lowest rates of the year. The pool is too cold without heating.

April to June. The best of it. Warm days, comfortable nights, the pool usable from about mid-May, and everything open without the August crush. June is the last month before the heat becomes the main fact of the day.

July and August. Hot — mid-thirties, occasionally higher — and busy, particularly the first fortnight of August when Spain takes its holiday. September to December. September is August with fewer people, October is still swimming weather, and the rain, if it comes, arrives in short bursts around late October.
